Terrain

Nordic forest with a lot of paths. Demanding slopes and green areas.

WOMEN 3 x 3,9 – 4,0 km

Control descriptions are in the map for both classes.

Running orders

Inform the running orders and EMIT numbers of your team at latest on Saturday 5.11. 20:00. You can send the information by email to heikki.virekunnas [at] student.tut.fi or tell it to organizers at the finish of long distance or banquet.

Start times

Mass start for both classes 10:00.

Mass start for those who are still waiting previous legs 12:00.

Distance to start

Start and changeover at the competition centre.

Punching system

EMIT system. Remember to read your emit out after coming to change/finish.

Toilet and shower

At competition centre. Don’t go inside with orienteering shoes!

Changeover, finish and last control

Team numbers and legs are marked to maps. Take the correct map! Maps are not gathered in the finish. Don’t show the map to next leg runners.

Only one last control. Finish will be closed 12:55.

Emergency

In an emergency, ask for help from other runners or go to competition centre.

First aid is located in competition centre.

Parking

No parking provided by organizers. There is 3h parking limit at competition centre. Free parking at Keilakuja 1, 33520 Tampere.

Buses

No buses provided by organizers! Public buses work well. Line 14 comes nearest to the competition centre. Bus schedules are printed for team leaders. Schedules also available here: http://aikataulut.tampere.fi/?line=14
